Aurealma is a singer, harpist and composer based in Antwerp. She feeds off of mythological inspirations to create a music with romantic, contemporary and ethnic sonorities. In addition to the music production for her ‘Sorceress’ EP, NEUF Artist Lab also designed the artist’s logo: a diamond-looking calligraphic symbol, made out of the two ‘A’ letters from Aurealma.

TITLING
COVER ART
The multi-disciplinary creative Wekaforé, under the alias Spirit Disco, directed a music video for his single Negro Con Estilo, featuring Jimmy Bones. We worked with the Barcelona based studio Córdova Canillas, going for a colourful and extravagant titling. Variations have also been carried out for the behind-the-scene video, a real documentary on the Spanish black community. We also designed the single’s artwork, referencing the Belter Records cover arts, considered iconic in the Spanish musical landscape.

TITLING
The fraternal collective KLUB 261 mixes trap, deep-house, cloud rap and many other influences. They hired us to design the original titling of their ‘Gorilla’ single, relaying the track’s identity: rough and violent.

Music artist Fang The Great, inspired by mythology and spirituality, hired NEUF Artist Lab to create a video for the promotion of his EP ‘The Lost Jewels’. We sonically illustrated the psychedelic animations of the video.

‘Deamon’, from the hybrid hip-hop artist Thincœur can be related to The Picture Of Dorian Gray: a man facing his own vices. In reaction to the sound clarity and the pop approach of the track, the music video, directed by NEUF Artist Lab, shows brutal camera movements, long exposure shots, and leaves a major role to prosthetic make-up, distorting the artist’s face.

We also directed Thincœur’s Lyrics Video of ‘New Foelder’. The track is made of surrealistic lyrics, with a special focus on computer interface’s folder. In an equally surrealistic collage approach, we integrated Thincœur in a MacOS-inspired environment, with a chaotic and playful spirit.

Parisian pop band Genoux Vener hired our stylist to pick up the outfits for their ‘Metro Boulot Dodo’ music video. We worked closely with the two artists to get a modern and elegant aesthetic, adding a colourful touch the video.

In addition to the EP’s visual universe direction, NEUF Artist Lab took care of the merchandising production. The aim was to merge impactful and singular designs to the project’s themes, reintroducing the collage approach and the symbols from his visual identity. In the photoshoot, we intended to set the clothes in a common surrounding, Parisian street, referencing Rorschach’s ink-blot with the make-up concept.
